My journey to founding Compass Senior Navigation Services began long before it became a business. For more than 25 years, I served as a VP of IT and Business Systems, leading large, cross‑functional teams of developers, program and project managers, product managers, and business analysts. My work centered on solving complex problems, building systems that support people, and leading with clarity and calm. Then life shifted. Both of my parents reached a point where they needed full support but not just with care, but with every detail of daily living. I stepped in to manage their VA benefits, partnered with estate planners and attorneys to update critical documents, organized their home, and prepared it for safe hospital‑to‑home transitions. I handled their bills, accounts, logins, and passwords, reviewed every charge, and reduced their monthly expenses by consolidating services. I built a complete system so our family could stay informed and make decisions confidently. Shortly after, a corporate downsizing ended my long tenure in leadership. And in that moment of transition, I saw something clearly: What I had done for my parents is what thousands of families are struggling to do alone. Today, I bring together my executive background, my systems‑driven approach, and my lived experience to offer families a single, trusted point of contact.
